WE ARE MOVING!

Hey guys!
What's up??

I know I haven't post anything in like forever, but it's because I've been busy with a few things, okay? So don't hate me. And actually, what I'm about to share with you guys is one of the thing.

Anyway, before that, I should let you all know that I am no longer working at the company, for real this time (tbh, I'm not sure if I told you guys that I came back to work there on April because my boss called me and asked me to help the company) because I'm too tired and the work load is so f***ing a lot.

Another major thing that is happening in my life is that, WE ARE MOVING!

Me and my family are moving to a new house that is not too far away from our current house. The reason we are moving is because we need some changes in our life and we need to be in a new environment and to have kinda fresh start.

So, I might show you guys the new house on my next post. 😉 Pretty excited about it though. 😆

Well I guess 2 things that I decided to share this week..haha..

There are some other things that's been going on in my life, but I can't really share about it yet, maybe on my next post or once it is confirmed...LOL..

So that's all for this week. Sorry it's short and that it's not a new tips or anything grand, but this is all I got time for because we still need to do some packing and shit.

So, thanks for viewing this super short post and hope you all have a great day.

This week I want to hear your idea/suggestion about how I should decorate my new room.

FIRST EID FITRI WITHOUT YOU

Hey everyone!

Whazzup?!!

I know I was so horrible for not posting anything for like months....I think?

But here I am again in this glorious day.

It’s Eid Fitri!!!

*screaming in excitement*

And, guess who just had his birthday last week?

Meeeeeeeee

I would like to say thank you for all who wished for my birthday. Really appreciate it!
Anyway, back to present day.

I’m actually not trying to be all melodramatic and stuff, though I know the title kinda does. I just wanted to acknowledge the fact that this year is the first celebration of Eid Fitri without my dad. To be honest, I’m quite surprised how strong  I was today, actually I’m not really surprise but I am surprised that all of us were strong today, none of us show our sadness and mourning in front of our relatives.

Though I have to say that last year, during the celebration of Eid Adha, I did cry but not in public. I cried while I was trying to wear my samping (Google it, you’ll know what it is) because my dad was always the one who helped me, every time.

Long story short, today had been a happy day.We went to the cemetery right after the Eid prayer. And then we went to our relatives’ houses and ate a bunch of food. BTW, I was wearing a beautiful dark blue colored clothes today and looking fabulous....haha...

So, that’s all I wanna share with you all this week because my cousin’s are coming to our house right now, so I have to help my sisters.

Hope you all had and will have a great celebration and holiday!

HAPPY EID FITRI EVERYONE!

This week I wanna know how’s your Eid Fitri celebration? How many money did you collect? Any special food that you ate today? Share here your family tradition or if you are not in Malaysia, let me know how’s the celebration at your country?

MY FIRST EVER VOTING

Hey guys!

What’s up?

I know I didn’t write anything for like months now, that’s because I was busy with work and stuff.

But now I’m back!

Based on the title, I don’t mean like People’s Choice Awards or MTV Awards type of voting, because obviously I’ve done that multiple of times.

What I actually mean by voting is, as some of you might know, that on 9th May 2018 was the day of election in Malaysia. Hence, I being a responsible 25 years old citizen of Malaysia went to vote.
So, it was my first time ever and had no idea what exactly will it be, though my brothers and sister did told me what to do but still, the reality is often different.

That day, I woke up early even though the night before I slept late because we went out for dinner. The reason why we woke up early is because we wanna be there early so we can vote, since the voting session ends at 5pm, and also because we hate standing in a long queue. Who isn't??

Funny thing is, my whole family was located at the same voting place, except for me, and we came up with a theory that it has to do something with my ID number or the address, but honestly, I don’t know.

So you understand that I was a bit nervous since I was there alone, without my family or anyone I know apparently. Luckily, I’m kinda an independent person, so I’m used to do things on my own. The key is, don’t panic!

At the beginning, while I was standing there, I didn’t feel so nervous, but as the line got shorter, I can feel like my palms started sweating and my stomach didn’t feel so good, I was feeling like I wanna fart, but then I didn’t because there was this guy who stood behind me, quite close, so I don’t wanna make a scene or anything.

So after like an hour or an hour and a half, finally it was my turn. And I was feeling more nervous, maybe because I didn’t know what would happen while I walk to the cubicle because it was my first time and it could also be because it was my time to vote who I think the best to run our country.

*insert suspense score*

Even so, I did managed to correct this guy who’s job was to call out people’s name and ID number before you dipped your fingers inside the bottle full of ink right before you start voting because he said my dad’s name wrong. I was like, “Excuse me; my dad’s name is not whatever you’ve just mentioned.” No, I’m just kidding, I didn’t say that but I did correct him.

Anyway, I’m glad it was over and nothing embarrassing happened and I had a nice walk to my aunt’s house after that.

Only now I realized how boring my post this time, but what the hell, I’m gonna share it anyway.

So let me know what was it like for your first time voting? And do let me know what other thing I should post about next week.

FOOD REVIEW (2) - JOHOR BAHRU, MALAYSIA

Hey guys! Whazzup!

As some of you might know, we (my family & I) went to visit my brother at Johor Bahru last week. It was such a great trip, though it was a bit tiring waiting at the airport.

However, this week I will not write about my trip, and since you wanted me to do another food review, so I decided that this week I will review about the food that we’ve ate at Johor Bahru.

We went to a few places, but I will review on those who I think most distinct than others.

1.       Kacang Pool Haji (Restaurant)
Before that, I would let you all to know that Kacang Pool (you can see the photo below) is one of the most famous foods in Johor and some say that this restaurant has the best Kacang Pool, hence the name.

So, since they say this place has the best Kacang Pool, so I ordered it. I should let you know that I have tasted Kacang Pool from other places that’s not in Johor. Let me tell you what I think....it is true what they say about this place, the Kacang (Nuts) Pool is sooo good, the nuts is not too many and not too little, just nice. And when the half fried egg melted into the Kacang Pool, it makes it even better. And not to forget the fluffy, thick bread, is so amazing.

*thumbs up*

But that’s not all we ordered, we also ordered their Fried Soto, which is also delicious because it’s spicy and the food is not dry, it’s a bit moist, so it’s such a great combination.

From my opinion, the service is good but it’s full most of the time, so I suggest if you want to go there, you should go on weekdays and not at night.

2.         Asam Pedas
To be honest, I’m not sure if this is the name of the restaurant but I do know that it’s located at Kampung Melayu Majidee.....google it. Well, Asam Pedas is usually common with Malacca but Johor also have their own version of Asam Pedas.

So at this place I ordered Red Snapper (Ikan Merah) Asam Pedas, but if you go there, please don’t say Red Snapper, because they wouldn’t know....haha...you should say Ikan Merah. So,that was what I ate and honestly, it’s super delicious. The Asam Pedas is slightly different that Malacca’s version because Malacca’s usually more concentrated but Johor’s is not, but the spiciness is almost the same. And the fish was well cooked and it’s sweet, so it mixed well with the spiciness of the Asam Pedas.

3.       Murtabak Cheese Leleh
This is the name of the stall, I’m sure of it. It is also located at Kampung Melayu Majidee, next to the Asam Pedas restaurant actually. So, for some who don’t know what Murtabak is, it is one of the foods originated from the Middle East. Some described it as spicy folded omelette pancake with bits of vegetables. However, this version that we ate, they add on cheese.

All I could say about this one is.....it is to die for! It’s sooo good. The cheese was plenty and though it’s not as thick as the usual Murtabak, but the stuffing was enough and you can taste all of it, the meat, the cheese, the onion, in one bite. And it’s quite big! However, again, this is one hot-stuff place, so you have to come early. They opened in the afternoon until night, but usually the Murtabak will finish by late afternoon.

So, that’s all the reviews for this week. Let me know if like this kind of post and if you have any other places (in Malaysia, please) that you recommend for me to go.

ME, MYSELF & THE GIRLS

Hi guys! What up??

Since this week is all about the love

*sprinkling everyone with the love powder*

So I decided to do the same.

Not making love, you perv!

I mean, to write something love related.

This time it will be personal, it’s about me.  As some of you might remember that a few years ago I posted about my secret admirers (I’ll put the link below), so this week I’ll be sharing about the girls that I liked or had a crush on. To be honest, I’m not sure which one is which, because I don’t know if I REALLY like these girls or I just had crush on them or just like being around them.

Anyway, just bare with me.

I’m not gonna be revealing any names or any specific characteristic.

Here we go, not in order:
1.       X
I’m pretty sure those who have been reading my blog 5 or 6 years ago would definitely know her. So I am not explaining more about her, just to say that she was my schoolmate.

2.       Y
Y, you all remember her because she was a recent topic that mentioned on my My Diary’s posts. This was also the only girl that I have had the courage to open up to in person, though not in a situation I was hoping for. Don’t be surprised you guys, I was in my 20s, and it’s about time I do something like that. However, when I think about it again, I’m not sure if I do like her or was it just because she was nice to me....I really don’t know. I guess it was a good thing that we didn’t become a couple because what if I don’t actually like her that much? It will be a disaster.

3.       The girl who I never mentioned here before (or maybe I did?)
There was this girl in my primary school which I was quite close to on my last year there. I don’t remember if we’ve had exchanged gifts but I do remember I gave her a present (but I don’t remember what it was). I think she went to the same high school with me but for just like 1 or something and after that we lost contact.

4.       The girl who I think I’ve mentioned here before.
This one was from my high school. She was a junior while I was a senior. I have to say, she was pretty, and I was interested to know her. What I did was (when I think about it again, I can’t believe I did that at the age of 17, and I don’t mean it in a bad way) I gave a rose with a card that have my phone number. But I have to let you know that I didn’t personally gave to her, I asked one of my schoolmate to do it. I know its lame but in my defend, I was worry she didn’t want to accept it if I’m the one who gave it to her. Unfortunately, she had (or maybe has) a boyfriend, and I found out about that when she texted me.

5.       That little girl.
This was when I was 6 or 7, I can’t really remember. And I actually don’t remember who she was but my family said she was the daughter of our family friend or something. But I what I do remember is that I gave her this plastic ring with a plastic gem that you can get when you buy a candy stick (kinda like a candy cane). That was all.

6.       Those primary school girl(s)
I don’t remember how many but my sister said I spent time with quite a lot of girls when I was in primary school and I wasn’t just hang out, I bought them lunch too.

So yeah, that was pretty much the girls that I liked or had crush on or something.

I know it must be a shock for you all because I’m still single and never been in a relationship though the list is quite long, but don’t worry, so am I. I guess the one for me is not in this list because she’s out there somewhere.

*hopeless romantic af*

Anyway, thanks for reading my long ass post. And I hope you’ll have a great weekend and a great time with your love ones.

This week I wanna know, have you had a crush before? Or has someone had crush on you?
